THE HARDTACK

THE HARDTACK CRACKER IS MADE FROM WHEAT FLOUR AND WATER,NOTHING ELSE IS ADDED
Part of the Yankee tradition which produced the magnificent clipper ships also produced the lowly ship's biscuit. The Hardtack is a heavy unleavened biscuit that was the sailors' staple for long sea voyages. The Bent hardtack cracker is still baked today by the Bent Company in Milton, Massachusetts.
Bent Company is an original purveyor of  hardtack provisions to the Union Army.

THE COMMON CRACKER

Don't let the name mislead you, this cracker is unlike any other.
You simply haven't had chowder, indeed soup of any sort, until you've had Bent's Common Cracker along with it. But that's not all. The Common Cracker is perfect for hors d'oeuvres, served with cheese or your own dips. It can be rolled into crumbs for topping casseroles or can be used for poultry stuffing that puts the "thanks" back into Thanksgiving.

THE COLD WATER CRACKER

The Water Cracker is made with the highest quality flour and cold water - there is no salt added. The result is a cracker you can really sink your teeth into, provided you have good teeth. These crackers are perfect, split and broiled in your oven and served with cheese.

The Water Cracker earns the name "cracker". For those of us who scowl at crackers that dissolve like a gulp of air, this one merits celebration.
